Due to the rising costs for materials needed for producing high quality, long lasting Giclee prints, my print maker has needed to raise his prices. This in turn forces me to also raise my prices soon so I can still make a small profit after paying his and other fees. (I need to be able to purchase more supplies to produce more paintings.) I will try to hold out at these old prices for as long as I can, but unfortunately, very soon they will be going up. Currently all print purchases can be made through my Artstorefronts store. Island Trio
This Trio can be displayed separately or together. The smaller paintings can be displayed on either side of the larger tugboat painting and will either line up with the islands and the clouds, depending on which side of the Birdswell they are placed. I currently have them available in original or larger size prints.

The Birdswell
The Birdswell was the first painting I created for this Trio. Actually, it was the very first Acrylic painting I have done since a child. I had mostly worked in watercolor for years and hadn’t done very much art in the years prior as I was busy raising my kids etc. The Birdswell is a old tug that my Grandfather captained before I was born, and my Dad spent most of his childhood on in the Quatsino Sound. Quatsino Sound is located in a isolated part of the Northern region of Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
The Birdswell was a historical old tug boat that was used to carry passengers from the float plane at Coal Harbor to the dock at Port Alice, BC. -Click on image to order Giclee Print.

Big Splash Orca
